Help RSG travel to Orlando for a Charity Run!
Reality Skewed Gamers (RSG) is a YouTube gaming group that loves to be involved with the community, inside of games and outside. In June 2018, due to events that happened in the Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes community, RSG decided to raise money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention with a 12 hour+ live stream. That live stream helped raise over $10,000 for AFSP and was a big success.
Being that Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is the main game RSG discusses, a new idea to raise money for a charity in 2019 has begun - a Star Wars themed charity run. RSG is wanting to go to the runDisney event and raise money for a charity once again!... but this time, help is needed. In order to get to the runDisney event (https://www.rundisney.com/) in April, travel expenses are needed for the RSG Crew (Rangerj1999, Finity, Grandepatron, TMcVenom, SirLoki, SanelyRed and Grimm). With everyone coming from different parts of the United States, we need your help in securing $5,500 for travel and registration for the event.
Once we reach this goal, we will begin fundraising for a charity through PledgeIt (campaign link to come), where the community can donate either one time, or based on the number of kilometers the RSG Crew runs. This campaign can be a big success, but we need help to get this one started - hence the GoFundMe. Any additional money given to the GoFundMe after the $5,500 will be donated to a charity.
As part of this initiative, after the event, a shirt will be designed commemorating this event that will list all PledgeIt and GoFundMe contributors, and all proceeds from the sale of those shirts will go to the charity as well. Let's make the 2019 campaign a bigger success than 2018!
